Disco Elysium The Final Cut Switch -

The Japanese version of the masterpiece RPG "Disco Elysium" has finally arrived!! "Disco Elysium: The Final Cut" is an RPG where you investigate a detective with amnesia and solve the mystery of a murder case. A key feature of this game is its system, which resembles a tabletop RPG. When players take action within the game, they make various choices through dialogue with a character that acts like a game master, and the success or failure of their actions is determined by skill checks using dice. In addition, the oil painting-style graphics exude a unique charm, expressing an eerie and mysterious worldview. Despite being an RPG, there are no battles; instead, the story progresses by talking to people involved and investigating suspicious places and interesting objects to gather information. The game has received high praise for its profound storyline, which intricately intertwines a murder case, the darkness lurking within a closed community, and the protagonist's personal problems, as well as its highly flexible gameplay. The protagonist of this story is a detective investigating a murder that occurred in a dilapidated town where the police are negligible and a "union" holds de facto power. The problem is, he has amnesia and doesn't even remember his own name. By completing tasks such as investigating the crime scene and interviewing local residents, you will gradually get closer to the truth of the incident. There are also many other tasks that may seem unrelated to the crime, such as those concerning your own lost memories or minor issues of the residents.
