Selenite Candle Holder Cylinder 20 cm

Place a candle inside and the whole cylinder begins to glow, with the flame flickering softly through translucent selenite. This selenite candle holder brings a tall, sculptural piece of crystal to a shelf, mantel or bedside table, turning ordinary candlelight into something more atmospheric and slow.

Light through satin selenite

The crystal has a pale, milky translucence, so candlelight moves through the walls rather than sitting only at the top.

Natural rough edges give the piece texture, while the polished top catches a cleaner line of light.

Whiter areas and subtle variation are part of selenite’s character, so each holder has its own quiet patterning.

The tall cylinder shape gives it presence even when unlit, like a simple crystal column in the room.

It suits a dry indoor space where evening light, soft shadow and natural mineral texture can do the work.

Moroccan selenite, cut for candlelight

Made from selenite from Morocco, this holder has a polished top and a flat-cut underside so it can sit steadily on a level surface. Selenite is a form of gypsum with a satin lustre and natural striations, and its rougher edges are part of the stone rather than a flaw.

Using it in a quiet corner

Set it on a stable, heat-safe surface before lighting your candle. Use a candle that sits securely in the holder without forcing it, and never leave a burning candle unattended. The vertical shape works well on a mantel, console, meditation corner or bedside table, away from curtains and draughts.

Selenite in crystal practice

In contemporary crystal practice, selenite is often associated with clarity, purity and stillness, and is commonly linked with the third eye and crown chakras. Here, that meaning stays close to the object itself: a pale mineral column, a small flame, and a simple moment of attention. It is a gentle piece for people who like their home rituals to feel quiet, natural and visually considered.
