Product Introduction:
The main control chip of this product is STC15W408AS microcontroller; The FM radio module uses RDA5807M, with a frequency range of 87.5-108MHz, covering almost all global frequency bands. It has the advantages of high sensitivity, low noise, and strong anti-interference ability; The amplifier part uses the anti distortion digital amplifier chip AXS2031 (instead of TDA2822), which has the characteristics of simple circuit, high output power, and the ability to maintain distortion even at voltages as low as 2.5V; The voltage stabilization part uses a 3.3V boost/buck module, which can maintain 3.3V for normal power supply and display of the microcontroller and digital display when the power supply voltage is 2.5-5.5V. Instead of the AM11117 voltage regulator chip, the microcontroller cannot function properly when the voltage is below 3V, and the digital display cannot function properly.
Parameter:
Two power supply methods: Type-C USB-5V or 2 AA dry batteries 3V
Radio band: FM frequency band
Frequency range: 87.5MHz~108MHz
Output power: Mono 5W
Attention: Only one of the two power supply methods can be chosen!
Product Description:
30cm universal antenna: We choose a 30cm universal antenna for signal reception, which can rotate and adjust in any direction to receive FM signals, greatly improving the sensitivity of sound reception and achieving the best reception effect.
3.3V buck boost module: We use a 3.3V buck boost module for the voltage regulation part. When the input voltage is 2.5-5V, it stably outputs 3.3V. When the voltage drops to 2.5V, there is still 3.3V output, which can ensure the normal operation of the circuit. However, the AM11117 used by other households is not a boost chip, and when the voltage drops to 2.5V, the digital display cannot display normally and the entire circuit is not working properly.
Anti distortion sound amplifier chip: The amplifier part adopts the anti distortion sound digital amplifier chip AXS2031, with a voltage range of 2.5~5.5V and a high fidelity output of 5W at full load, with an efficiency of up to 99%. The sound is smooth and not harsh, even if the voltage is as low as 2.5V, it will not be distorted, and the listening experience will greatly exceed TDA2822
Welding instructions:
Before welding, please refer to the component list to check if any components are missing. For components such as transistors, capacitors, resistors, etc., please use a multimeter to test their quality; When welding, please first weld thinner surface mount components, modules, etc. You can use an electric soldering iron or a hot air gun to blow solder paste onto them. Then, use a bracket to lift the PCB and insert components of similar height according to their part numbers; In order to prevent the components from falling off and facilitate welding, we use adhesive tape to stick them all onto the components and then onto the edges of the PCB. We flip the PCB over with the component legs facing up and use sharp nose pliers to cut the long component legs short, leaving a height of about 1mm. Then, we can proceed with quick welding; Welding follows the principle of ascending from low to high.
When installing the universal antenna, the flat feet of the antenna should be tightly attached to the back of the PCB with tin, fixed with M3 screws, adjusted for verticality, and reinforced with tin soldering. Finally, the leads should be soldered to the horn and battery box, and double-sided adhesive should be applied to the PCB according to their positions. The male and female copper pillars should be screwed onto the PCB, and finally the shell should be installed.
