Full thread construction screws, cylinder head WKFC-08240 (50)

Fully threaded construction and reinforcement wood screws with cylinder head and Torx socket

Screws designed for construction connections and reinforcement of wooden elements. Full thread ensures optimal connection of connected elements "without pulling". The cylinder head allows for quick and invisible countersinking of the screw into the fastened element.

Features and benefits

1. Cylindrical head with TX socket

Allows for quick and invisible countersinking of the screw into the fastened element. The TX socket guarantees optimal torque transfer.

2. Full thread

Ensures optimal connection of connected elements "without pulling"

3. Reaming cutter

Reduces the torque required for screwing by widening the hole in the fastened element.

4. Wax coating

Thanks to the special wax coating applied during the production process, the screwing torque is significantly reduced.

5. Double thread

Additional coils on the tip facilitate screwing - they allow for faster "grabbing" of the wood with less pressure.

6. Milling tip/cutting notches

Special shape of the milling tip, up to 20% less resistance during screwing, which extends the life of the battery and the tools themselves. The cutting notches on the thread cut the fibers of the wood structure when screwing in.

7. High torque

Allows you to drive screws without pre-drilling into hard woods.

1. Solid wood,

2. Glued solid wood (CLT,KVH,BSH/GLT)

3. Laminated laminated wood (LVL)

1. Reinforcement with screws in the ridge zone,

2. protection against cracking of a beam with a notch,

3. strengthening at the support point,

4. strengthening by adding a second beam,

5. strengthening a beam in a weakened area with a hole,

6. connecting two girders,

7. connecting two passing beams.

These are only example applications. WKFC screws are used for structural connections and reinforcing wooden elements.

• European Certificate ETA-18/0817 07/06/2023 - warranty of the highest quality. This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for materials, geometry, strength, stiffness and durability (i.e. corrosion protection) of fasteners used in load-bearing timber structures.

The screws we offer are of the highest quality and can be safely used in construction. We make every effort to ensure that the products delivered to our contractors are safe and adapted to specific tasks.

The screws do not require pre-drilling.

However, in the case of long screws, it is worth pre-drilling.

• This makes it easier to insert the screw when screwing in,

• reduces stress in the wood,

• allows for screwing closer to the edge of the beam,

• loads less tool.

Drill with a smaller diameter screw. For screws with a diameter of 8 mm, we recommend using a 5 mm drill bit.
